This particular number had been pestering my daughter incessantly on her mobile for quite a while. You can well imagine that it didn't sit right with me at all. I decided to give it a whirl and answered the call, only to be met with complete silence on the other end. I actually held the line for a whole minute, thinking it might be some sort of weirdo, though I’m less inclined to believe that now. I’ve since blocked the number and simply carried on with life.
