The call appeared as an international number on my phone, yet when I checked 1471, it came up as a local one. A man with an Indian accent introduced himself as Sam from BT Openreach and started asking about my internet connection. When I asked him to say it again, he just hung up. I'm pretty sure this was some kind of scam annoying me to try and get my bank or card info.
