They didn’t know which energy supplier we use or what the alert was actually about. When I said she could talk to me, she asked for my name but I told her I couldn’t share it because of GDPR rules. They asked about how many locations we manage, which a legit energy company should already know, and to make matters worse, they didn't have any email or contact details for the account handler. When I asked for something we could forward on, they couldn’t give an email or phone number either. Seemed really fishy to me.4 yearsSomeone rang me up out of the blue trying to flog electricity.
