Just received yet another dodgy call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, but they were masquerading as BT, claiming something was awry with my broadband. There was that all-too-familiar awkward silence at the start, which suggested they were dialling several numbers simultaneously and I was just the lucky chap who answered first. After I firmly informed the caller there was absolutely nothing wrong with my internet, he didn’t waste any time before hanging up!

Got a call supposedly from BT about my internet but the guy speaking had such a strong Asian accent I could hardly make out what he was saying. Honestly, if he’s aiming to scam folks here, maybe he should work on his English first!

Said they were from BT’s tech support, but it’s just a scam. Don’t trust them.
