Got a call that just rang twice and then went dead. The number was from Martin area code, which I've honestly never come across before. Just like an earlier one from Colchester that did the exact same thing. I'm pretty sure these are all scams linked to some dodgy bloke who called me yesterday - same story, an Asian guy but with a very English name. I've had loads of these kinds of calls before. Told him to get lost straight away. Feels like these weird, quick rings from odd places are some kinda tactic to annoy or unsettle. Just two rings to be a nuisance, nothing more.
