Lately, there’s been loads of calls from people pretending to be BT, warning that our service will be disconnected within a day - always the same lady, and she sounds American. Just this morning, we got a text from someone claiming to be Amazon. We usually just end the call without saying anything.

Got a robocall claiming it was from Amazon Prime saying they were gonna take £79.99 from my account soon. They told me to hit 1 if I wanted to talk to someone about it. No one ever said their name, and I haven’t bought anything from Amazon in ages, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
