I've had some rather unsettling experiences with fraudsters impersonating HMRC officials who were attempting to convince me that I was somehow involved in criminal activity regarding outstanding taxes. It’s quite alarming, really! I can readily see how others might easily fall prey to their intimidation tactics, as they don’t hesitate to issue threats of imprisonment and legal action. It’s truly distressing. Nevertheless, I trust that disclosures like mine can aid others in recognising such scams more readily.
