I’ve no idea who this might be, and they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either.

I received a rather alarming phone call earlier; the chap on the line claimed to be representing my internet provider. He warned me that they were about to sever my internet connection because of supposed illicit activities on my part. Quite ridiculous, really!
