This is a classic trick! I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from BT Openreach. He told me there was an issue with my internet, saying it was insecure and that viruses were being downloaded onto my gadgets. He offered to sort it all out for me. I decided to mess about a bit and asked him to clarify everything a couple of times before I eventually ended the call. It's so obvious and tired now, can't believe people still fall for it. Still, it might catch out some elderly folks who don't know better, which is worrying.
