Here we go again with yet another of those irritating scams proclaiming, "You've been in an accident within the last three years." I tend to counter with something along the lines of, "Please delete my information from your records. I'm ex-directory, and by keeping my details, you're violating data protection laws. If you ring me again, I genuinely won't hesitate to take legal action." Whether this actually works remains uncertain, especially since there seems to be an endless parade of these so-called claims companies-once one gets the hint and stops pestering me, another pops up right on cue!
