I got a call from some finance firm saying I could claim money back off a packaged bank account. Thing is, I've never had one, so I told them straight up.

I picked up because the number looked local, even tho it wasn’t saved on my phone. Wish I hadn’t bothered, chewed up my time with those lot. They kept throwing questions about how happy I was with my bank, which I dodged or gave short replies to. They backed off only after I mentioned my bank gives a proper interbank exchange rate on foreign card use and cash withdrawals, which matters loads cos I travel a lot. They said they’d tag me so I wouldn’t get called again. Yeah, right - straight on my block list went they. Might even try to trace their number later and see if I can shut it down... - caller ID: supposedly selling those packaged bank accounts.
