This 01525 number kept phoning me over and over till i finally picked up. The bloke claimed he was from TPS wanting to update info. He even read out my address and asked if it was right. Next, he started asking for stuff like my card details and monthly payments. I refused to share anything and he said he’d get his "manager" on the call. I wasnt very nice to him and ended the call, but they kept ringing another 8 times before I managed to block it. Oh, and if you're with TalkTalk, just dial 14258 to block any unwanted callers.

Yesterday I got loads of calls from this bloke, sounded Asian but had a proper English name, which was odd. He even mentioned my address and kept going on about this TPS thing. It felt dodgy so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Claimed to be from BT Call Protect and proceeded to inquire about my debit card information and numbers from my cheque book.

I've received five calls from this number today, and each time there was nothing but silence. Feeling a bit wary, I decided to dial the number from a payphone, only to hear a recorded message stating that this number is no longer in service. Quite odd, to say the least!

I don’t know if everyone has heard of it, but getting a BT Call Guardian phone is a proper lifesaver. Whenever one of those dodgy numbers rings, they just get a warning message saying their call is being recorded. The best bit is, your phone won’t even ring - you just get to check the list of attempted calls afterward and block any you don’t want. If lots of people started using these phones or something like them, I reckon these scam callers would soon find themselves hitting dead ends with no one picking up. Definitely worth considering!

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming she was from TPS, seemed to know a bit about me. I refused to share my card’s expiry date, and then she got pretty hostile. Told her straight up I wasn’t giving out personal info, and then she just hung up on me. How rude is that?

Got a call from some bloke with a thick accent, sounded like he was from a call centre somewhere in South Asia. He said my TPS registration was about to run out and asked for the three numbers on the back of my card to renew it. Told him straight away that TPS is free and doesn’t expire, then just hung up. They kept calling back though, and when I picked up the next time, I gave them a proper mouthful, calling them thiefs and idiots. Still, they’ve managed to ring me about 15 times in the last couple of days. Honestly, these scammers have zero clue and zero shame.

This number keeps ringing me along with some 01663 ones, like several times daily. I’ve started saving each one as ‘Fraud1’, ‘Fraud2’ and so on on my phone so everyone at home can see it on the screen and avoid answering. We’re already at Fraud7 in just a couple of weeks.

Got a call and I just hung up straight away. Then about ten minutes later, another call came through with similar Asian accents. I ended up reporting it to Action Fraud.

Got two calls from a bloke who sounded Asian, claiming he was from the TPS. Said he could help me block international calls if I extended the service. Asked me to confirm my name, address, debit card expiry and how I pay my phone bill. I didn’t give him any details, told him TPS is free and asked why he was bothering me with this rubbish when TPS is there to stop calls like his. Then he just hung up. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from some sketchy bloke with that typical call centre accent, sounding like it came straight out of some dodgy office. He was going on about how if I joined his tpm or tps thing, the spam calls would stop - all he needed was my credit card info. I told him nicely that the only way I'd stop getting these calls was if he just buggered off. He ended the call right after.

From what I’ve read in other posts, this looks like the same lot of scammers who call from 01525460644 pretending to be from some ‘telephone management service’ trying to get your bank info. They phoned me yesterday - I picked up but ended the call straight away once I figured it was dodgy. So when a very similar number showed up today, I was wary and let it go to voicemail. The caller just hung up. I’m definitely blocking this number now.

got a call from a woman with an asian accent claiming to be from tps. she knew my address and postcode which made it a bit suspicious. then she started asking about my bt billing info, which was off because we actually use sky for our internet. i hung up straight away. it’s awful how these scams can target anyone, especially older folks living alone or those struggling with memory issues like alzheimer’s. really hope there’s better ways to shield vulnerable people from these dodgy calls.

The first one was a woman asking for me by name, and the second time a man called, also using my name and claiming to be from the TPS. They sounded like they had Indian accents. When I began asking them questions and told them I knew it was a scam, they both just hung up on me.
