Got a call from someone with an African accent saying I need to pay for a household appliance by the 1st. I told them I don’t have any such account or insurance, but she kept insisting “You do.” I just hung up before she could reply. Such a dodgy call!

I got a voicemail saying someone tried to use my debit or credit card to make a payment abroad, then it asked me to press a button to confirm or reject the charge. Since the number was unfamiliar and the message didn’t give enough details, I didn’t press anything. I also got an identical call from 01525 395881. Seems like these calls are just scams trying to get info.

Got a voicemail saying someone tried to use my card abroad and asked me to press a number to confirm or refuse the charge. Since the number was unfamiliar and the message gave no clear details, I didn’t press anything. I got the same kind of call from 01908 694216 too. Sounds like both were probably scams trying to trick me into giving more info.
