I recently received a rather dubious call, featuring a pre-recorded message from a woman’s voice. Interestingly, I had a similar call just a few days prior from 01525 229749, purporting to be from Visa Security. They were making outlandish claims about suspicious transactions on my card linked to Amazon and Western Union, yet they never specified which card they were referring to, nor did they bother to refer to me by name. The call ended abruptly when I didn’t press "1" as they demanded. It's worth noting that, to my knowledge, Visa doesn't operate out of Leighton Buzzard, which certainly raises a red flag about the legitimacy of this call.

Got a call a few days back from 01525 229749 with a female voice on a recorded message. It allegedly came from Visa's security team saying there were some dodgy charges on my card from Amazon and Western Union. They never mentioned my card number or even my name. When I didn't hit "1" as they told me, the call just ended. Pretty sure Visa don't have any offices in Leighton Buzzard anyway, so that made me even more wary about the whole thing.
