Got a dodgy call saying my phone was going to be cut off if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them. But I’m not even on any contract with BT! What a scam.

This call came right at tea time, which seems to be their usual spot to ring. I didn't pick up and there wasn't any voicemail either. The number looked weird - it showed up starting with '44' but no '0' before it, and when I blocked it, it was labelled as an 'O' number. Supposedly, I’m not set up for international calls, but this one definitely wasn’t from abroad. Wonder if this is some new trick to get folks to answer their phone?
