Mortgage brokers who ring out of the blue just trying to drum up business - I wouldn't trust firms that rely on spamming loads of people like that. They must get your details from the land registry or something since they know your name and address. So yeah, best to be really cautious with those calls.

They’ve sent loads of texts, called me up, and left voicemails too. I’ve blocked the number and reported it as spam.

Someone rang me saying they were from a letting agency and even used my name. They then asked for more of my personal info. After I looked up all the official numbers for the agency, none were the one that called me. Seems like a scam trying to steal info. Watch out for them!
