I got a call from a guy who said he was Michael Williams, claiming he was ringing from India. He wanted to know if I’d be up for purchasing cows, apparently in any colour you fancy. I just ended the call straight away. What a strange one!

Yeah right. I work as a Software Analyst and told him straight up that he was talking utter rubbish. Then, guess what? He just hung up on me. Ridiculous.

Got a call saying my bank account was at risk because of some dodgy activity in Manchester. They said they were Natwest and needed to protect my account by transferring to some safe place. Told them to jog on (definitely not Manchester!). Pretty sure the number was faked too.

At about 5.34pm on the 6th of April, I got a call from 01524959376. An Indian bloke asked for me by my first name and claimed he was with some web design firm. I found it odd since no legit company rings at that time, so I asked how he got my details. He said he just looked up my business's website and called to see if I wanted any updates or changes. I get loads of emails every week from Indian ‘web designers’, so this has got to be the next big con after those 'your internet provider says your router is sending strange signals' scams!
