I got a call from someone claiming to be with Three Mobile, saying there had been overcharges on my account so they wanted to give me a discount. They asked for my bank details and even the OTP code, which I now know is a massive red flag. I fell for it at first, but thankfully my bank was able to reverse the charges. I tried ringing Three Mobile using the contact info from their official site to check if the offer was genuine, but that number turned out dodgy too - they asked again for my bank info and OTP. The caller sounded like they had an Asian accent. It was a scary lesson, but I’m glad I caught it in time.

So, these folks claimed they were from EE. When I didn’t give them the answer they wanted, they started cursing at me. Proper rude!
