Got a call from some bloke asking loads of stuff like my name, date of birth, car reg and even the insurance details, said it was about a crash? Mentioned the street it happened on too. I was waiting for a call from my real insurer, but he said all this info was needed for GDPR or something to put through a claim on my insurance. Told him I wasn’t making any claim, then he got a bit rude and was speaking with a Scouse accent. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number. Watch out, sounds dodgy.

Had a car accident recently, and somehow they ended up ringing my ex, who’s pretty violent, asking if he was in the car. Worst part? They even told him my new address! Ridiculous and scary.

I got a call from someone claiming they were from my car insurer and they even knew my name. But when some info didn't add up, I asked for more details about my policy. Then they told me to ring back later, but when I tried the number they gave me, it was dead. Definitely fishy.
