Today 22/2/19 I got a call from 01524 768305 which is a landline. It was some robotic American voice saying something about “BT technical” and how my internet would be cut off. I might be old, over 65, but I’m not daft. Definitely a scam trying to trick people. I blocked the number right away using BT’s 1572 call protect, but I reckon more fake calls will come through. This is the third one I’ve had recently, all from different places in the UK. Don’t fall for it, BT would never call like that and it’s not legit at all.
