I got a call at work and the person just hung up when I picked up. I looked them up here and it’s a relief I did, now I’m prepared if they ring back. Honestly, there should be some sort of campaign to get parliament involved to tackle these annoying calls. Or maybe phone companies ought to enforce tougher rules about who’s allowed a phone number and be able to cut them off straight away if enough complaints come in.

Got a call from 01524 625774, and the guy claimed he’d got my number from the police! Yeah, right, I really doubt that, especially since the number’s from Lancaster, Lancashire. There’s no way the police would just hand out people’s digits to some random cold caller. The bloke sounded foreign and was proper full of himself, talking like he was better than everyone else. Very cheeky and rude in the way he spoke to me.

My missus picked up a call earlier and whoever was on the other end just cut off straight away. Looks like one of them dodgy scam calls to me. Honestly, there's better stuff to do than picking up these nuisance calls. Why not just let them ring out and see if they bother to leave a message? Even better, why don't the coppers step in and track these lot down? Maybe some hefty fines or even jail time would make them think twice before pestering folks.

I've had calls from this number twice today. They said they're after me about some unsecured debts, but the weird thing is, when I called back, the number was apparently invalid. They claimed to have got my info from some 'public database', but it must be pretty outdated because they used my old surname. My tip? Just don't answer and block it straight away.
