So they rang me up a while back, wanted to talk to the homeowner or something like that. I just hung up straight away. Then, a couple of days later, they called again and actually used my name, which is right, but when I told them they had the wrong number, the person on the other end just cut the call. Weird!

Right from the beginning there was a pause so I guessed it was a cold call. A woman with an Indian accent came on and asked how I was doing, then wanted to talk to Mr xxx. I told her no, she then asked if I was Mr xxx myself (I’m a woman). I said no, he doesn’t live here. After that she asked if I owned the place, I said no, I’m just renting. She said have a nice day and hung up, but never said what company she was from or what the call was about. I’m Mrs x0 and I do own the house, but I decide who I want to answer the phone.

Today I got a call from someone called ‘Jean’ chatting about energy saving and something to do with the government. They already knew my name, but that was all the info they managed to get out of me. I just said cheers and hung up!

I keep getting calls non stop. It’s really annoying!

I got two calls, spaced a few hours apart. When I picked up, the person just kept talking even though I tried to say something. I asked them how they got my number, but they didn’t reply. I told them to take me off their list, and they said it would take 48 hours. Feels like they’ll probably end up selling my number anyway.

I picked up and all I got was silence before they just hung up! Definitely some kind of spam call.
