Got a call from 01524449777 today at about 11:27. The person said it was the bank wanting to verify a purchase supposedly made on Amazon from my account. I just let it ring off and didn’t bother answering.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, saying there were two big transactions on my account. They never mentioned which bank or asked for my name. They just ended the call quickly. I looked up the number afterwards.

Got a call from some recorded voice saying there were two big withdrawals from my account, even more than what I had! It told me to press buttons for options. I was suspicious, so I just ended the call. Later, I rang my bank to make sure and yep, it was definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, telling me there were two charges on my Visa. They said to press 1 to stop the payments or 2 to talk to someone. I asked the person on the line if she was trying to scam me. She just kept insisting the payments were real. When I asked which Visa card they were talking about, the call was cut off. Total scam, stay alert!

Typical nonsense about "bank security" again.
