It seems to me that some individuals here could do with finding a bit more meaning in their lives. Everyone who signs up for the Telephone Preference Service seems to view themselves as rather important simply because they utilise a free service to screen unwanted calls. Honestly, why would anyone be overly concerned when they occasionally receive an unsolicited call? Is it really that significant? Moreover, those who tend to lodge complaints with the TPS often appear to be either of a certain age or are simply looking for something to occupy their time-perhaps even a combination of both. The very act of starting this discussion strikes me as rather sad, to say the least.

Today, I received a call from this number, but alas, they didn't bother leaving a message on the answering machine. A quick search online points to a Compensation Claims firm based in Morecambe. We’ve never dealt with this company, and given that we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems they must have either bought our number or are simply cold-calling random digits in the vicinity. Should another call come through, I’ll be sure to lodge a complaint with the TPS.

I received a call today, but we didn't respond since we don't answer numbers we don't recognise. They didn't leave any message either. Just to add, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service too.

The chat started with something along the lines of, "I'm conducting a survey in your area." Then they asked if I'd ever worked in a loud setting, to which I replied with a firm "no." Just before they wrapped up, they inquired if I'd experienced any workplace mishaps that weren’t my fault, hinting at their angle. Why? It turned out they were fishing for leads on no-win, no-fee compensation claims. Quite the approach, really!

It appears that these folks are rather persistent, don’t you think? Once you raise an issue, they don’t seem to budge when it comes to removing your details from their directory. Just had a call from Save & Claim, which gives off the distinct vibe that the Occupational Injury Helpline has packed it in! Now they’re back, but under a different guise. They’re eager to assist us in pursuing claims for mis-sold payment protection insurance, but there’s a catch - we need to fork out some cash on our credit card first. It's quite fishy if you ask me!

Although I can't personally vouch for this company, it is my belief that they fall under the regulation of the Ministry of Justice. From what I've gathered, they are expected to follow a specific code of conduct. If they seem to be falling short of these standards, then it might be worth considering lodging a complaint with the MoJ.

I used to be employed by this company in 2005, and it’s quite astonishing how they managed to acquire phone numbers, even if you were registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They would literally comb through directories, and my job involved dialing numbers straight from the phone book - I was practically flipping through pages all day long!

We received a call from the number 01524425352 and were quite taken aback. It turns out it was the Occupational Health helpline. We're quite concerned that our details might be used for something we didn’t consent to. Apparently, they mentioned we should expect information regarding a hearing test within the next four to six days, specifically in the Workington region. Hopefully, our information remains confidential and unexploited.

Likewise, I've had the same experience. Just received a call from that number. We actually spent a decent amount of time in Morecambe, so the area and dial codes ring a bell for us. We're registered with the TPS. As soon as we mentioned our status, their response was that they had mistakenly dialled the wrong number! Quite amusing, really!

I’m currently on the phone preference list and just gave this number a call. The response was something like, "Oh, is that Linda?" It's baffling how these folk manage to get hold of numbers that are registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s really infuriating! They claim that because they're not selling anything, it’s perfectly fine for them to ring us up. I’m not buying that at all. We wrapped up the conversation courteously, just saying a quick cheerio before hanging up.

I've lost count of how many times I've been disturbed by these folks lately-this makes it the fifth time in just a few months! Each time, I've asked how they managed to get hold of my number, and they insist it’s all in their so-called database. I mentioned that I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but their response? They claimed TPS permits them to call me because they’re merely conducting a survey! Honestly, it's quite maddening. I'll be lodging a complaint, and hopefully, if more people do the same, something might actually change.

I received several calls from this company, yet their number was withheld. The calls came through at odd hours: first at 12:59 am, then 3 am, followed by 5 am and finally at 7:17 am. I reached out to BT, and they’re currently looking into it. Apparently, numerous households in the North East experienced these silent calls throughout the night. We attempted to ring the number to lodge a complaint, but nobody picked up. BT mentioned that they’re in the midst of a significant investigation, but that doesn’t help me catch up on my sleep! Is anyone else facing similar issues?

We received a call from this company earlier today, but unfortunately, we were not at home to answer. They didn’t leave a message, which we found rather suspicious. We are also registered with the Telephone Preference Service and shall be reporting this number as they seem to be sidestepping the regulations.

I received multiple calls from this company but they concealed their number. The calls started coming in at 00:59, then at 03:00, 05:00, and again at 07:17. I've reached out to BT, and they're currently looking into the matter. According to them, numerous homes in the North East experienced these silent calls during the night. We've tried calling the number mentioned to lodge a complaint, but there’s been no response. BT has indicated that these folks are involved in a significant investigation, yet that doesn’t help me get my rest back! Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

In the last fortnight, I’ve received five calls from this number. Out of those, three were automatically generated dialler calls that didn’t connect when I answered. The other two, which came through my home and business numbers, were rather dodgy. The callers got extremely twitchy as soon as we asked for the name of their company. They promptly hung up on us. Quite suspicious, if you ask me-definitely a no-go, especially with withheld caller IDs!
