Had a call from Southern drains and sewerage claiming they’d do a free drain check. They seemed to know loads about an elderly relative of mine. Luckily I picked up, otherwise I’d have been none the wiser.

Got a ring from someone claiming I had health insurance through Halifax, sounded totally sketchy! They even had my right sort code, how they got that is beyond me.

This number rang my mum pretending to be from her health care, saying she could get a free blood pressure monitor. Total rubbish though. Luckily my sis, who works in social care, wasn't having it and called him out. The bloke just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

My dad got a call from the same number, and the person told him they've got all his info and claimed he paid last year. They wanted him to verify his bank details. Honestly, don’t trust it, it's definitely a scam!

A guy rang me, talking really quick about renewing my Healthcare Plus insurance. He mentioned sending me a free blood pressure monitor. When I asked what he meant, he rattled off my exact address and asked if I’d forgotten the plan that supposedly costs £5.95 a month by direct debit. Thing is, I don’t have any direct debit like that. So after I said no, he just hung up.
