My number was originally picked up by scammers, so whenever I get calls from unfamiliar or non-local numbers, I just assume it’s a scam and report it. That’s likely how my number ended up being passed around and sold in the first place.

They’re an insurance firm that really tries to give you what you need, but even after I said no, they kept ringing me. They’re nice enough, but I found them a bit too persistent for my liking.

I just got a call that turned out to be some political thing, maybe about that referendum coming up. I hung up before they even got a word in! Oops!
