This morning at about 9 o’clock I got a call from this number. When I answered, there was a short silence then a guy said “hello” before I quickly ended the call. I saw some other reviews and it seems like they got hung up on too, which is a bit strange. Not sure why they do that but I’m going to block it anyway, seems like a scam to me.

I picked up thinking it was someone I was waiting on but there was just silence at first. Then a bloke said hello but there was so much noise in the background I couldn’t make out what he was saying. He did something to cut out the noise but I still couldn’t catch who he said he was. He said he’d ring back later, but I asked him to just tell me what it was about now. He just said he couldn’t do that if I didn’t understand him. Definitely one of those scam calls!

Typical scam call as always. They used names that they probably grabbed from some dodgy shared contact list and spoke with a thick Indian accent, pretending to have an English name. The bloke claimed he could lower my phone bills "starting next month". When I asked for details, he said he needed to know my current provider. I just told him to jog on and slammed the phone down.
