Got a couple of calls from this number over the past few days, don’t know who it is. Picked up once but no one spoke on the other end, felt like it might have been some sort of scam. No idea what they want.

Got two calls earlier today from someone saying they were with Microsoft Technical Support. I reckon it’s the same lot who also pretend to be from Talk Talk or BT tech teams. Definitely a SCAM, so best to ignore them and not follow any instructions they give.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a Microsoft "engineer". I told him straight away my PC wasn’t even hooked up, plus it wasn’t a Microsoft machine. He just hung up after that. These kinds of scams should honestly be taken to court!

Like a few others mentioned, this is definitely some scammer pretending to be from Microsoft just to mess with your computer. Don't trust them at all and just tell them to buzz off.

I got a call around 10:45 this morning from an Asian lady claiming to be from Microsoft. She told me my computer was under attack and told me to get in front of it to fix things. When I asked a few questions, she actually called me dumb. Not falling for their nonsense that easy! Seriously, don’t listen to them or let them in.

Someone called claiming they were from Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC. I said there wasn’t any problem and that my niece works at Microsoft, so he shouldn’t call back. He kept asking why she wasn’t protecting my computer if that was true. I said I was sick of these calls and told him to stop. He said he’d keep calling until I let him fix it. I told him he was the real problem, that I’d reported this as a scam to the police and then I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone who sounded asian, all that usual Microsoft nonsense. I’ve gotten so wary of hearing that accent now, it just sets me on edge straight away. Lately, I’ve started messing with them by making silly noises, like ‘blub blub blub’ down the phone - works every time to shut them up quick!

My phone's blocked their number now so it won’t even ring, but they tried calling me a bunch of times. Pretty sure it's some sort of scam.

I told this guy I wasn’t convinced about who he was and that I’d hang up. Yet, the same Asian bloke rang me back at least four times on the 12th and once more today. I wasn’t exactly polite, told him I didn’t want to talk to him or any boss he had, and demanded they take my number off their list. Proper scummy scammers trying to sneak into our computers.

this number called me but when i picked up no one said anything, just silence. if they claim to be from microsoft next time, maybe say you work there too and ask them which office and department so you can check with their manager first.

Got a call from a woman called Jenny, said she was from Microsoft. Told me my computer had a virus, but honestly, I’ve got no issues with it. When I mentioned I did have a problem (which wasn’t true), she tried to connect me to her manager. Pretty clear scam, just like all the others.
