I got a call out of the blue warning me about some dodgy £600 transaction abroad, asking me to press 1 to approve or 2 to chat with an advisor. They said calling back would cost me loads in phone charges. Pretty obvious dodgy scam if you ask me. Best thing is to just hang up straight away and report it to Action Fraud, the National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Centre here in the UK on 0300 123 2040. You can even do it online. Hopefully, this helps stop these crooks in their tracks.
