On the 30th of September 2019, I had a rather suspicious phone call where the caller suggested that I was receiving notifications regarding my BT broadband connection. The woman on the line had a rather thick accent and her English was a bit difficult to follow, compounded by quite a bit of racket in the background. It felt very much like it was heading into scam territory, so I decided to hang up before things went any further.
