A chap rang me up, purporting to be from Virgin Media, claiming there was an issue with my internet connection. However, I found it all a bit dodgy, to be honest. I thought to myself, surely if Virgin Media were genuinely contacting me, they'd at least have my name on hand. When I pressed the caller for my details, he abruptly cut the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

They claimed to be from Virgin Media, discussing issues with my internet security. They requested that I download an application among other things. I informed the gentleman on the line that, should they genuinely represent Virgin, I would reach out to them directly for confirmation. At that point, they abruptly ended the call.
