Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media about an issue with my internet. It didn’t seem quite right though. Surely if it was legit, they’d have my name handy? So I asked if they knew who I was and the bloke just cut off straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media about some sort of internet security issue. They tried to get me to download an app or something. I said if they were really from Virgin, I’d ring their official number to check. As soon as I said that, they just ended the call straight away.

My phone went off but they cut the call before I could even pick up. Pretty clear it was just another scam.
