My landline got a call but as soon as it went to voicemail, they just hung up. Quite odd really.

I got a call from some home care carpet and fabric cleaning people. I told them I wasn’t interested and they didn’t push me or anything, which was nice.

They identified themselves as Castle Carpet Cleaning and insinuated that we had some prior engagement. Typical fibs to circumvent the rules against cold calling, if you ask me!
