I’ve had about four calls this morning from different numbers but all showing the same 01522 prefix. The people keep saying they’re from BT and that there’s some problem with our internet or that illegal activity has been detected. Thing is, we’re a business that handles our own IT and definitely don’t get our internet from BT. As soon as they say it’s BT, I just hang up straight away.

Got this call like 5 times over two days, claiming to be from BT. The last few digits on the phone number kept switching but the voice stayed exactly the same every time! Numbers have been 01522 476733 and 01522 997640. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.
