Someone rang claiming to be from TalkTalk saying my internet had some issues, and they could fix it. I told them they were scammers and not from TalkTalk, then they just hung up on me.

A woman rang claiming to be from BT's call blocking team, asking if I was still having trouble with spam calls. She went on about how they're trying hard to improve the service but need a bit more time to sort it all out. When I asked which company she was with, she suddenly ended the call. She spoke with a clear English accent but seemed sincere at first. It wasn't until she asked for my card info that I realised something was off. Totally a scam!
