A chap contacted me, asserting he was affiliated with an official O2 representative near my location. To be honest, I’m quite puzzled about what he was after since I’ve never engaged with O2 before and have no plans to do so in the future. After some digging, I discovered that the number he called from was clearly not tied to O2 at all. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Had this bloke ring me up saying he was the official rep for O2 and Vodafone 'round here. I cut him off straight away with a quick "no thanks" and hung up before he could go on. I don't do that nonsense where they start with your first name and ask for the business owner claiming they're some authorised partner. It's just a load of rubbish, they definitely aren't! Never trust that stuff.

Got a call from 01522449401, some bloke with a thick Asian accent saying I’d won a free call ‘because of coronavirus’. When I called him a scammer, he just hung up on me. Then, about five minutes later, the same number rang again but a completely different voice this time. I wasn’t messing about and told them off proper. Blocked the number straight away - total scam.

Got a call from 01522449401, this bloke had a strong Asian accent and was talking about a free phone call. When I called him out for being a scammer, he just hung up straight away. Said something about 'I Jue to coronavirus' before cutting off. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone offering free phone calls because of the virus, but it just felt like another scam. Can they not have a bit of decency, it's happening all over again!

This is the third time today they've rung me, before it was from 01522 449401. They were chatting about fibre broadband and phone upgrades, saying everything will move to the cloud by 2025. Honestly, it’s a bit much, especially when I've already said I’m not interested.
