I think this call bounced back from somewhere - they said it was BT trying to offer me a broadband speed upgrade. The first guy knew his stuff about upload and download speeds, though he had a thick accent and the connection was pretty bad. He told me my upload speed was too slow - I just gave him random figures. Then he passed me over to a 'supervisor' to sort out upgrading the router.
