Got a call from this number the other day, some overseas caller claiming to be from BT. They told me there was some big issue with my account and tried to connect me to 'tech support'. Seemed really dodgy to me, so I’ve gone ahead and reported it to BT.

Loads of times we get calls off people saying they're from TalkTalk or BT. I always check the number using 1471 and it's almost always a new one. Why doesn’t the government do something and stop people from making loads of fake numbers so scammers can't keep doing this? It's about time they stepped in.
