It's absolutely appalling and quite frankly unacceptable for the NHS to be conducting these automated phone surveys via outsourcing. The audio is practically indecipherable, and the effort to pronounce patients' names using text-to-speech is utterly ineffective, not to mention quite demeaning. I remember being terrified of Daleks in my youth, but they pale in comparison to what's happening with the NHS these days. And really, who authorised the sharing of my personal information with these machines?

I can’t believe I’ve been getting these calls barely three days after being discharged from the hospital following significant surgery. It’s more than just irritating! Considering my limited mobility, attempting to reach the phone can lead to mishaps and hinder my recovery. If they absolutely need to carry out these surveys, surely it would be more sensible to send a letter instead? Conducting surveys in this way does absolutely nothing to improve the already dreadful reputation of the hospital (ulh.nhs trust) - such a hassle just to be contacted by the 'hospital survey'.
