I got a call from someone pretending to be with the HMRC tax fraud squad, saying I owed some “dodgy tax” money that I had to cough up immediately. They told me I had an arrest warrant, my passport was frozen, and they were about to take my house and car away. The whole thing sounded super dodgy and didn’t really add up. Honestly, I kept the call going just because I couldn’t believe how ridiculous it was - it was quite the laugh, really.
