Really annoyed with them ringing non-stop, so I finally picked up to make it cease. They said they were from The Lottery Centre and supposedly government authorised. Offered to sign me up for a syndicate for the Irish Lottery because apparently there were better winnings. When I said I wasn’t comfortable handing over my bank details, they gave me a phone number to "verify the company" myself - I never bothered calling it. Now, I get calls from them virtually every day since.

This number has rung me quite a few times, and today I finally picked up. A woman was on the line trying to get me to join the Irish lottery, claiming I could win a million pounds. She said I’d only have to pay a single £8 fee and was really pushy about signing me up. I told her I didn’t have any money at all, and she hung up pretty sharpish after that. Honestly, don’t fall for this kind of thing - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!

So this guy rang me after I filled out a survey, saying I'd be entered into some sort of lottery but had to pay £2 and maybe give my bank info. I wasn’t having any of it. Seems to me these surveys just want your details to trick you into something dodgy, like a scam or something.

Got a call from a woman who said I’d taken part in a survey and she wanted to enter me into a draw to win a billion quid. She asked what I’d do with the money, then went on to ask if I’d ever played the Irish lottery and if I wanted to join for four weeks, but when she mentioned a fee, I just said no thanks.
