Had a call this morning, the second scam attempt I’ve had today! It was a lady with a strong foreign accent who kept pushing and honestly felt quite threatening. She claimed to be my neighbourhood energy consultant, but it was clear she was calling from miles away. I really don’t get how these callers still manage to operate and why the so-called “officials” aren’t doing anything to block this nonsense. Absolutely infuriating!

Got a call from a woman speaking with a thick Far Eastern accent, which made it pretty hard to follow what she was saying. She asked if I was the homeowner, but I couldn’t catch her at first so had to ask her name twice. Eventually, she said something about a Free Driveway Assessment. I joked back saying it was brilliant since my driveway’s about five miles long - said when they were coming to start the job? After a couple of hesitant pauses, she just cut me off. Pretty obvious it was just another cheeky scam.

When I asked which company exactly, she muttered something that I thought sounded like "ecoroof." I asked once more for the name and then she just ended the call. Seems like it's probably a dodgy energy scam to me.
