this bloke called saying he was from some fraud check agency, but once i mentioned FCA means Financial Conduct Authority, he quickly switched up his story. total scam, watch out!

Got a call from some dodgy-sounding overseas call centre looking for a bloke named Hakeem. Then out of the blue, got a text saying Hakeem’s application was approved - except I never put in any application, and I don’t even know anyone called Hakeem. Feels like a total scam to me! Anyway, I’ve just blocked the number now.
