I received a rather distressing phone call regarding insurance for a dishwasher. We had previously cancelled all such policies linked to that address a few months ago, but this chap was insistent as anything. He exhibited a shocking level of rudeness, even managing to upset my niece-who happened to pick up the phone-so much so that she ended up in tears. He went so far as to accuse her of having an attitude problem, and when she mentioned that my mother, the original policyholder, had passed away, he showed no signs of empathy whatsoever. Despite her asking repeatedly for his identity and the name of his company, he obstinately refused to provide any information. Quite unacceptable behaviour, if you ask me!
