My mum got a call from someone pretending to be with the FCA saying they’d discovered a bitcoin account linked to her. They tried convincing her to install TeamViewer to supposedly fix the issue.

Got a call earlier from this number, some lady saying her name was Anne Marie and she was from Blockchain.com or something like that. She told me I supposedly had an account with some of my money locked up. She even claimed to know my email and other details. I asked her to email me the info so I could check properly, but I never got anything. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Phone never rang and I got a missed call - when I dialled back, it just went straight to a weird beep and then no connection. Feels like one of those dodgy sales or scam calls you get nowadays, but it’s hard to tell for certain. These kinds of calls are just so annoying.

Got a call earlier today from a lady claiming to be with the FCA. She said she could assist in unfreezing my bank account since apparently, I had funds stuck in it. Sounded fishy to me - pretty sure it was a scam!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming she was with the FCA. She said she could unlock my frozen bank account, but wanted a bit of money upfront. Obviously, it was a scam to drain your account completely.

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming to be with the FCA, saying she could unlock my frozen bank account if I paid a little fee. Obviously, it was a trick to drain my funds. Total phishing scam.
