Some bloke rang claiming to be from Diamond Resorts, saying we'd got four holiday weeks because we’d apparently paid maintenance fees. I asked for the amount, and he said £168, adding we could use the weeks anytime in the next three years. I’d been reading up on these calls and realised it sounded like a scam. I told him I wasn’t buying it and asked him to remove my number since we keep getting calls like this almost daily. He then called me a STUPID B#### and just ended the call!

Got a call from Platinum Timeshare about holiday vouchers they claim I got like 4 years ago that are supposedly "expiring" today. I had absolutely no idea I even had these vouchers. I told them I need to check with my wife first, but she’s not home for another three days. I think it was linked to Timeshare stuff. I read online that these folks supposedly help you get out of long-running Timeshare contracts. So I replied, and this polite lady rang me up and asked if I wanted to meet her in Bristol, said it was at M1 Legal’s office. At first, I said yes but now I’m having second thoughts. I don’t have a full address or phone number for them anymore, and my lawyer says their official address is in Spain. Plus, I can’t really remember much about it all now.

I received a rather dodgy call from a number that claimed to represent something called Gold Crown resorts. They left a voicemail about our maintenance fees, insisting they’d be waiving them for a period of three weeks and assured us it wouldn’t impact our points. Apparently, they were going to follow up with an email, which they did, stating we’d given them our verbal approval to get in touch. The email didn’t provide any option to unsubscribe, so I opted to send it straight to spam. This was after I had a rather abrupt conversation with a woman yesterday about our holiday entitlements, during which I firmly requested they cease all calls. She didn’t seem too pleased with that!

Then I got an email from Bonus Breaks (there's a site for it), which doesn’t seem to be linked to Gold Crown at all. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
