They rang me up about some international shares, and somehow they already had my name! They claimed I’d handed over my info to them before, which just isn’t true. Didn't give them anything!

Got a call from someone asking for Mrs XXX but used my maiden name, which really confused me. I said yes at first, then it hit me that it was my former name. The caller then chuckled and told me I’d messed up. I quickly ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Bit unsettling, to be honest.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from a company that offers financial training, trying to get me to join a course on trading Bitcoin and stocks. They were quite pushy and didn't take 'no' for an answer at all.
