5 yearsA man with a strong grasp of English called me, claiming that due to my excellent no-claims record on my car insurance, I was entitled to a refund. He asked for my debit card info to process the rebate. He kept talking nonstop and was polite, but didn’t take too kindly when I questioned him. I’m in my eighties, but as a retired copper, I can spot these scams a mile off. I reckon this is aimed at older folks who might not be as cautious and could easily get rattled. I’ve never even insured my three TVs, let alone anything else. The phone number he used was a landline, 01509700045.5 yearsgot a call about some unpaid bill for home boiler insurance, which ive never even signed up for. they kept pushing that i owed money and needed to pay right away. i told them off and told them not to bother calling back. these people are really pushy and seem dodgy. they claimed they were from a finance firm working with yhc or something.YHC5 yearsSomebody called me claiming I had boiler insurance, which is odd because I don’t even own a boiler. Feels dodgy, probably a scam.5 yearsI picked up and after a brief silence, it sounded like someone quickly gasped, then they hung up, all happening in just a few seconds.5 yearsHonestly, don't trust these callers, they're not legit.
