somebody called saying they were chris from simple-v claims or something like that. sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call claiming it was about PPI and that I hadn’t got my full refund. Problem is, I never even had PPI. The caller said the only way to stop them ringing was to listen but I said no and they kept on talking, even asked if I knew what PPI was. I ended up hanging up. Then my daughter got another call from a hidden number. The message said it was a telemarketing call and wasn’t important. No clue who they are, best not to pick up!

I got a call from this number about supposedly being owed £1000 for mis-sold PPI. The woman on the line was really pushy, wouldn’t accept me saying no. I didn’t share any personal info, asked to end the call and she promised to take me off their list so I wouldn’t get called again. When I asked her again to just remove me, she kept repeating the same thing nonstop. I just stopped replying and she finally hung up. Another unknown number blocked from now on!

I got a call where it was all automated, it told me to "please hold" and then just went silent afterwards.

I got a call from some PPI firm saying I've got thousands of pounds owed to me. The guy was proper pushy and kept saying I'd be mad not to let them check for me. I kept telling him I wasn't interested, but he just wouldn’t take the hint. Eventually, after me saying no a bunch of times, he just ended the call.
