Got a call claiming it was about PPI and that I hadn’t got my full refund. Problem is, I never even had PPI. The caller said the only way to stop them ringing was to listen but I said no and they kept on talking, even asked if I knew what PPI was. I ended up hanging up. Then my daughter got another call from a hidden number. The message said it was a telemarketing call and wasn’t important. No clue who they are, best not to pick up!

I received a phone call from this number, claiming I was entitled to a refund of £1000 for mis-selling PPI. The woman on the line was rather insistent, ignoring my refusals completely. I didn’t provide any personal information, yet she insisted I finish the call so she could supposedly erase my details from their records and prevent further calls. When I asked her to simply remove me, she just kept parrotting the same lines. Frustrated, I decided to stop engaging, and eventually, she just hung up on me. What a nuisance! Another one for the blocked list!

I received a call that seemed to be automated; the system instructed me to "kindly hold..." and then, oddly enough, just fell silent.

I got a call from some PPI firm saying I've got thousands of pounds owed to me. The guy was proper pushy and kept saying I'd be mad not to let them check for me. I kept telling him I wasn't interested, but he just wouldn’t take the hint. Eventually, after me saying no a bunch of times, he just ended the call.
