Got a dodgy call on Good Friday first thing, about 9 in the morning. Didn’t even bother answering it. Another attempt at a scam, I reckon.

Windows scrappage call. They claim to have surveyors nearby, but it seems they didn’t have a clue where I resided. It was clear they were just reading off a script. When I mentioned to Sam that I was 95, his tone changed to that of a dodgy salesman. I then quipped that I was stationed on oil rig NS43, and there were no windows, just portholes. That gave me a chuckle, and before I knew it, Sam cut off the line. Quite the uncivil chap, that one!
