I ended the call as soon as I picked up and blocked the number. They’re probably going to sell my number to other companies since I actually answered. Shouldn’t have done that in the first place. If it was really important, they’d leave a message - but obviously they don’t.

I received a call from this number earlier today. When I picked up, it turned out to be someone representing Goldsmith Solicitors based in Liverpool. They were claiming that the banks have been overcharging us. It's rather peculiar for a solicitor from Liverpool to be contacting me, considering I'm nowhere near there. Just a word of caution-don't share any personal information. They might very well be a legitimate firm, but my instincts tell me to be wary.

0151 909 2887 Liverpool area, England called from Carphone Warehouse - my contract was due for renewal. The guy was pretty helpful, but I was almost caught up in a pricier contract deal without realising. Just a heads up, if you pick up be careful coz they’ll send you the phone and new contract automatically unless you tell them not to!

Got a call from Goldsmith Williams solicitor saying I’d talked to them back in 2013 about a claim, but because of loads of backlog, they were only getting back now. I told them I’d never spoken to them before, that I’m a solicitor myself, and this was just cold calling. I said I’d report them to the SRA. They hung up quickly, but then Mr Cottrell, who said he was the manager, rang back apologising loads and promised they’d take my name off their list so I wouldn’t get any more calls.

i ignored the call and have no plans to call back. if you are signed up with the tps, next time write down the callers name and company, then inform them you’re reporting this as you're on the tps list - their company could be fined. hopefully that will put an end to these annoying calls.

kept getting calls about some accident claim i never had, and also pushing me to claim ppi even though i never took any out. they said the banks dont really check much, as long as you had a loan, they’ll pay just to shut you up. whats worse is the number they keep ringing is actually an out of hours support line, not linked to any individual, and it’s supposed to be blocked for these firms. feels like they keep finding sneaky ways around the blocks meant to stop this kind of annoying harassment.

Somebody rang me up and asked for me by name, which i said yes to. Then they asked if i remember them helping me sort a mortgage back in 2007? I said maybe. Then they mentioned an address to jog my memory, i said maybe again. When i asked what the call was about, they just ended the call on me!
